Begin in Tbilisi, where cobbled streets, ancient churches, and panoramic cable car rides set the tone for a cultural adventure. Explore the charm of Old Tbilisi, stroll along Rustaveli Avenue, and unwind at Mtatsminda Park with sweeping views of the city.
Step back in time with a visit to Mtskheta, Georgia’s spiritual heart, and marvel at the architectural wonders of Jvari Monastery and Svetitskhoveli Cathedral. Then, ascend into the Caucasus Mountains to discover the serenity of Gudauri and the breathtaking beauty of Kazbegi. Ride a 4×4 to the iconic Gergeti Trinity Church, perched high above the clouds, and explore the dramatic Dariali Gorge near the Russian border.
Day-Wise Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival
- TBA Landing at Tbilisi International Airport.
- Clearing immigration and customs.
- Collecting the baggage.
- Meeting with the company representative in the arrivals hall and transfer to the hotel.
- Assistance with check-in at the hotel (standard time – 14:00-15:00).
- Free time to freshen up.
- Overnight in Tbilisi.
Day 2: Tbilisi Full Day
- Breakfast at the hotel.
- At about 10:00 am – Drive to the Old Tbilisi and start the walking tour to discover the beauty of the ancient capital – walking tour starts at Freedom Square and includes Clock Tower, Bridge of Peace, Rike Park, Metekhi Church, Cable Car to the Narikala Fortress (ride up by cable car), “Mother of Kartli,” and Abanotubani District (Sulfur Baths).
- Walking on Rustaveli Avenue – the main prospect of the city.
- Shopping at Flea Market and Gallery Mall.
- Later, experience the new Cable Car to Mtatsminda Park (approximately 4-minute ride) and enjoy some free time there.
- On the way back, enjoy a Funicular ride from the Park down to Tbilisi city center.
- Overnight in Tbilisi.
Day 3: Tour to Mtskheta, Ananuri & Gudauri
- Breakfast at the hotel.
- At about 10:00 am, start the tour to Tianeti Region.
- First, drive to Mtskheta, the ancient capital of Georgia and one of the most important spiritual and cultural centers of the country. Visit Jvari Monastery and Svetitkhoveli Cathedral.
- Next stop will be Ananuri Complex and Jinvali Reservoir.
- Continue driving to Gudauri and visit the beautiful monument, which is also a great viewpoint to the mesmerizing mountains of the Caucasus.
- Free time for relaxation and enjoying the views.
- Later, check in at the hotel and rest.
- Overnight in Gudauri.
Day 4: Tour to Kazbegi & Dariali
- At about 10:00 am, start the tour – drive to one of the most popular tourist destinations in Georgia – Kazbegi.
- First, drive to Kazbegi and change to a 4×4 vehicle to ride up to the top of the mountain and visit the Gergeti Monastery, surrounded by the huge, mysterious mountains of the Caucasus.
- Later, drive to Dariali Gorge, one of the most important historical centers of the country – the main border between Georgia and Russia.
- Optional: Walking tour to Gveleti Waterfall (2 kilometers each way) – survey the spectacular area and take beautiful pictures of the mesmerizing Caucasus mountains.
- Return to the hotel in Tbilisi and rest.
- Overnight in Tbilisi.
Day 5: Departure
- Breakfast at the hotel. Check-out formalities (standard time – 12:00)
